This Facebook fan page was created as part of a new online marketing strategy for SugarRush Fudge, as small, family owned fudge manufacturer in Mebane, NC. As part of a 4 member consulting team, my primary job was to develop a new social media campaign to help improve the company's online presence and increase the number of unique visitors to their main website. I was responsible for taking and editing product photos as well as photo of the company's kitchen and staff, writing copy for the social media page, as well as educating the staff on how to manage the page themselves. Within 3 hrs of premiering the fan page, the company had gained 30 new fans of the page/company and has be steadily growing this number ever since.
This Facebook fan page was created a part of my EcoActive brand marketing campaign. It's goal is to reach out to and share information with friends, family, and friends of friends in my Facebook network as well as drive traffic to my BioDesign/EcoActive website. This page is solely used to post and link to articles, videos, information, etc. pertaining to the environment, conservation, and sustainability. These posts are also linked to my EcoActiveSean Twitter feed making the proess of sharing infomration via numerous channels more efficient.
The EcoActiveSean Twitter feed was created as a way to quickly post and share links to articles and videos that discuss issues about the environment, conservation, sustainability, etc. Twitter has offered me and my EcoActive brand a way to connect with likeminded people and organization around the world. It has also connected me with organizations and companies that may be interested in my services as a social media consultant or website designer who tailors his work to those in the biological sciences and tries to devolop websites that mimic ecology in the way they are designed and content is shared.
