The Future is Now The biological sciences are at a precipice of change in the way we inform and educate the public about issues of the environment, conservation, and sustainability.
Interactivity, which includes the Internet and multimedia devices will be responsible for creating momentum in the sustainability effort by offering new, engaging, and entertaining ways to educate audiences.
Those who take advantage of interactive media will be at the forefront of this movement, leading to the greater knowledge and understanding of our planet and what we can do to maintain its glorious splendor.
Multimedia devices, such as electronic botanical field guides and USB microscopes allow scientists and amateur naturalists alike to conduct more efficient and sound scientific research, while the Internet allows them to inform the world of their work.
With my background in biology and interactive media I believe I am one of those at the forefront of this movement and have created this site to do my small part to educate and enlighted the masses about the importance of being stewards of the environment.
